Establishing and maintaining more than 20 demonstration plots of commercially important aromatic plants in R&D farms for awareness and training purpose. The major species are different verities of lemongrass, citronella, mints,chamomile, stevia, basil, damask rose, palmarosa, clarysage, lemon balm, perilla etc.
“Centre for Aromatic Plants (CAP)” was established by Government of Uttarakhand in 2003 at industrial area Selaqui, Dehradun. CAP is a complete business incubator centre for the development of the aromatic sector in Uttarakhand.
