FARMER’S TECHNICAL PAMPHLETS

During the year, 2017-18 to 2018-19, CAP has published and revised various pamphlets on aromatic crops viz. Damask Rose, Lemongrass, Japanese Mint, Chamomile, Basil, Citronella, Geranium and Palmarosa for the dissemination of technical information to the farmers regarding the cultivation of aromatic crops.

CENTRE PLANTS FOR AROMATIC BROCHURE

During the year, 2017-18 to 2018-19, CAP has published and revised its brochure on Centre for Aromatic Plants for the dissemination of technical information to the visitors and farmers. The information provided in the brochure is about the facilities available in the centre, CAP’s programs etc. 

AROMA PARK POLICY BROCHURES

During the year 2018-19, Aroma Park Policy was made to provide market for aromatic crops to double the income of farmers of Uttarakhand. CAP has published various pamphlets related to Aroma Park Policy, Aroma tourism and aromatic crops viz. Lemongrass and Japanese mint for the dissemination of technical information to the investors and farmers regarding the aroma park policy and the cultivation of aromatic crops.

RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS

Research and development works on different aspects of aromatic plants viz. chemical profiling, characterization, quality evaluation, genetic diversity, DNA fingerprinting, antimicrobial activitie1s, antioxidant activities and agronomical studies are being carried out by CAP. In this context, 07 research papers have been published in various peer-reviewed national and international journals during the year 2017-18 to 2018-19.
